OUR MISSION
NimbleGov PAC is an independent, citizen-based, nonpartisan group dedicated to increasing Laguna’s Beach’s City Council accountability and resident representation by establishing term limits for Council members.
NimbleGov PAC started the ballot measure process on April 29 2025 by submitting the required "Notice of Intent to Circulate Petition" with the City Clerk's office. By October 27 2025, NimbleGov PAC collected 2,471 prima facie LB voters' signatures during a 148-day period with our group of dedicated residents working on a shoe-string budget.
The Registrar of Voters did a statistical validation and confirmed that NimbleGov PAC had exceeded the required threshold of 10% of registered Laguna Beach voters (1,818 required) and on December 9 2025, the City Council formally passed Resolution 25.100, placing the question of City Council Term Limits on the November 3, 2026 general election ballot. The measure will require a simple majority of LB votes cast in order to become law.

Vote for the safeguards and guardrails
that create a vibrant democracy
Term limits are a crucial step towards a more dynamic and accountable democracy. By ensuring regular turnover in office, we can prevent the entrenchment of power, foster fresh ideas and strengthen the connection between elected officials and the people they serve.
