Term limits Laguna Beach is an independent, citizen-based, nonpartisan group dedicated to increasing Laguna’s Beach’s City Council accountability and resident representation by establishing term limits for Council members.
Our mission is to instill greater democracy by putting curbs on entrenched, powerful, career politicians who have become disconnected from voters, and complacent and stagnant in their solutions.
We seek to neutralize the inherent advantages of incumbency so that new candidates can successfully compete and reinvigorate our government with fresh ideas.
We believe in a political system where every voice matters, where leadership is renewed, and where citizens are empowered to drive change.
